Eyebrow Transplantation

Eyebrows that directly affect our gaze and face are complementary to the aesthetic appearance of the face. However, due to diseases such as goiter, thyroid, ringworm, burns, genetic factors or weakening of the hair follicles caused by eyebrow ingestion, eyebrows may fall out or not at all for various reasons such as sutures and scars. Although women can make up or tattoo on behalf of camouflaged eyebrows, this is not a permanent method. Thanks to eyebrow transplantation operation; people with sparse eyebrows, shedding or no eyebrow roots can achieve permanent eyebrows. In addition, only people who want to change the shape of eyebrows can apply this method.

What is Eyebrow Transplantation? How To?

Hair transplantation is carried out with a similar application of hair follicles taken from the back of the head to the eyebrow region which is drawn as desired.

Before the operation, an eyebrow drawing is made with the pencil of the desired shape and thickness, and the donor area to be removed from the hair root and the eyebrow area to be transplanted are anesthetized with local anesthesia. Eyebrow transplantation is done with special thin pencils called choi pen which are used in DHI method in the same way as hair transplantation.

The donor site to be taken can be selected from the nape of the hair due to the suitability of the hair structure or from the scattered hair roots around the eyebrow.

The hair follicles (grafts) taken by DHI method are placed one by one after the right angles are formed in the eyebrow area to be transplanted. The angles formed are very important for the eyebrows to rise at the right incline rather than perpendicular. Since the procedure is performed with local anesthesia, there is no pain or pain during the operation.

After a two-hour single session of eyebrow transplantation, the area should not be washed, soaked and cosmetic materials should be avoided until recovery is achieved.

In the days following sowing, the operated eyebrows may weaken and fall out; but it starts to grow again in a period of 5-7 months. Since the hair roots taken from the nape region are taken from the nape, they are prone to elongation so the eyebrows need to be shortened for a certain period of time.
